Yuzu Jam & Ricotta Toast

Yuzu Jam & Ricotta Toast

Serves: 2

Ingredients

½ cup ricotta cheese
3 Tbsp Gelson’s 100% California extra virgin olive oil, divided
½ tsp freshly ground Gelson’s black pepper
¼ tsp kosher salt
2 ½”-thick slices Italian bread
½ cup Yuzu jam
Orange zest, for garnish
Honey, for garnish

Directions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the ricotta cheese, 1 tablespoon of the olive oil, salt and black pepper until smooth.
  2. Add the remaining olive oil to a large skillet and heat over medium heat. Add the bread and toast for about 2 minutes on each side until golden brown. Spread the yuzu jam onto each piece of toast and top with the ricotta.
  3. Garnish with orange zest and honey. Enjoy.
