Caramel Apple Toddy

This simple, sophisticated cocktail would make a wonderful after-dinner treat on a cozy fall evening. The bourbon and hot cider give it a pleasant warmth, while the bright lemon juice helps to balance out the sweetness of the caramel. It tastes indulgent but decidedly grown-up: you get the sweet caramel apple flavor without the sugar rush.
