5-Step Avocado Margarita

Ingredients

For the Rim:

1 lime wedge
Salt (for rimming)

For the Cocktail:

⅛ avocado
4 mint leaves
1 jalapeño slice (seeds removed)
1 oz freshly squeezed lime juice
2 oz silver tequila
½ oz Grand Marnier
½ oz simple syrup

For Serving:

Ice
Large mint sprig (for garnish)
Jalapeño slice (for garnish)

Directions

  1. Run a lime wedge around the top rim of a rocks glass, then dip the rim in a shallow plate of salt to coat. Set aside.
  2. In a cocktail shaker, muddle ⅛ avocado, 4 mint leaves, 1 slice jalapeño (seeds removed), and 1 oz freshly squeezed lime juice.
  3. Fill the shaker halfway with ice. Add 2 oz silver tequila, ½ oz Grand Marnier, and ½ oz simple syrup. Shake vigorously for 30 seconds.
  4. Fill the prepared rocks glass with ice and double strain the cocktail into the glass.
  5. Garnish with a large mint sprig and jalapeño slice. Enjoy!
