Rosé Wines are wonderful for the warm summer season, as they are light-bodied, fruity, pairing well with cheeses and food that are equally light. Rose is probably one of the easiest wines to pair food with. They are great with mild cheeses, charcuterie, seafood, sushi, Asian style foods and meat.
Chandon Rose from California
Soft goat cheese pairs best with Rosé. Goat cheese has an acidic, tangy flavor that pairs well with roses’ that are delicate and refreshingly fruity.
Acrobat Rose of Pinot Noir Oregon
Tangy, salty feta is a nice match with the zippy acidity in rosé. The crispy, clean flavor of Rosé also helps wipe the palate clean, making it ready for more salty cheese.
Chateau de Campuget
La Tur pairs well with Rosé. This creamy, rich Italian cheese contains a blend of three kinds of milk—goat, sheep, and cow—but it's the flavor of the goat's milk that really comes through. Tangy, earthy, and fresh; this cheese will pair nicely with a rosé that has a hint of fresh berries in the flavor.
Coppola Sofia Brut Rosé'
Spiced berry accent, and crisp refreshing flavors of tart red currants, pomegranate, strawberries, and peaches –wine notes which pair well with Gruyere. This Swiss Alpine-style cheese is sweet but slightly salty, with a flavor that varies creamy and nutty when young. As it matures it becomes increasingly assertive, earthy and complex.
Coeur De Rose Reserve
This Rose’ pairs beautifully with Mediterranean cuisine from its native region. The flavor of Spanish Mahon made of cow's milk evokes the grassy Mediterranean hillsides and salty sea-kissed air on the island of Menorca where Mahon is made. It has a slightly sharp bite and creamy texture.
Le Cengle Cotes de Provence Rose’
The palate is lively, fresh and delicate which pairs well with Burrata, a fresh Italian cheese made from mozzarella and cream. The outer shell is solid mozzarella, while the inside contains stracciatella and cream, giving it an unusual, soft texture.
