• 2 ounces bourbon or rye whiskey
• 1 teaspoon sugar or 1 sugar cube
• 2-3 dashes of bitters
Using an old-fashioned glass, place sugar cube or sugar and wet with bitters; stir in water until sugar has dissolved. Pour in whiskey and stir too completely dissolve sugar, then insert a few ice cubes or whiskey stones. Garnish with fruit or soda water and stir before enjoying.
